After years working communications for environmental organisations, I could no longer ignore the disconnect between the two - scientists are bad communicators, and communicators don’t understand science. So I undertook a master’s in environmental management to learn the tricks behind the magic. Pulled back the curtain, found the false door, and combined my skills of persuasion with knowledge of how our Earth works. 

We have all the technological solutions we need, but communicators must use their engagement wizardry to translate science magic. Communicators are culture transformers.
